These pleasant little clowns are a beautiful shade of light orange with a thick white stripe that runs from the snout to the tail. A hardy but bashful fish, the Orange Skunk Clownfish will establish an area of territoriality. Clownfish are generally not fussy eaters, and will accept a range of frozen and prepared foods like flakes, pellets, and frozen formulas. They can benefit from some plant matter in their diet, although they are not considered herbivores. Tankraised clowns can be more resistant to aquarium diseases like Oodinium that can affect clownfish and other tank residents. Although the interaction between anemones and clownfish is amusing to watch, it is not necessary to the survival of either animal. Tankraised fish may not immediately bond with a host anemone, though Orange Skunk clowns may bond with Carpet, Long-Tentacled, or Bubble-Tipped Anemones with time.
