Smith’s Blenny is pale grey with a diagonal black stripe through the eye. The dorsal is grey edged with a broad black stripe, and the rounded tail is grey with black stripes. This particular blenny has mildly venomous fangs for defense, though they are generally of little concern to aquarists. Fang blennies are predominantly midwater-dwelling fish that require plenty of rockwork to hide in, and plenty of open water, too. They will do fine on a diet of frozen foods and flake or pellets. They aren’t particularly aggressive and make a great community and reef fish.
