Blue Fin Damsel

The Blue Fin Damsel is characterized by a white body and yellow top, with blue and black pectoral and anal fins. As they mature, their coloration becomes much darker, and will eventually become an almost uniform dark grey. Damsel are generally very hardy and make excellent starter fish for new aquariums, or add color and activity to an existing system. Use caution when stocking with damsels however, as they are notorious for becoming territorial and some will aggressively defend their area. Damsels will accept almost any types of foods offered, including flakes, pellets, frozen formulas and foods like brine shrimp and clams. Most will also eat some algaes.
