Foxface - Medium

The Foxface has a yellow body and a white head with a black breast marking and a black bar extending from the snout to the dorsal. They are generally peaceful toward other fish but will not tolerate other foxfaces in a small environment. This fish has venomous dorsal and anal spines Bright and colorful when relaxed, Foxfaces are rather timid and frighten easily, taking on a mottled brown color when in a state of unrest. Foxfaces are reef safe with caution as they may nibble on coral polyps if they are not kept well fed. Foxfaces are bold grazers that will eat most meaty foods, but need lots of greenstuffs. They should also have algae to graze on in between feedings.
